If I haven’t made it abundantly clear, let me say I love fishing!
In this episode I talk about four lures that I consider essential equipment if you are going to the lake to catch panfish. Panfish is a broad and vague definition and normally I hate those types of definitions so I make up my own. Panfish are smaller fish, usually not caught for sport but rather eating. They are generally easy to catch and catch lots of. Bluegill, crappie, perch are all generally considered panfish.
The lures I keep always with me are:
1. Roostertail – a small inline spinnerbait that will catch just about anything.
2. Curly Tailed Grub – a soft plastic lure with a variety of tricks.
3. Tube Jigs – a lure that catches early crappie with abandon.
4. Maribou Jigs – a favorite from my childhood that works when all else fails.
Please don’t forget to visit my sponsors to help support the show. I’ve lowered the price of the Food Security Knowledge Pack to $6.99 and eliminated the disc option. I just sent out my first email update to subscribers which was a companion planting and beneficial vs. detrimental insect matrix. These are two tools that I think will help subscribers in the coming gardening season!
